Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka is a Belarussian born in Minsk. Sergey Sabalenka (d. 2019) is her hockey-playing father. Aryna Sabalenka was born in Minsk, Belarus on May 5 1998. Her twelve WTA singles wins include one Grand Slam, the 2023 Australian Open. The doubles play she plays is superb and she has also won Majors at her first major tournaments, the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), each of them with Elise Mertens. Alongside Mertens, the Belgian tennis star she was a WTA 1000s winner at Indian Wells in 2019 and Miami. Four women's teams were able to achieve this achievement. In January of 2023 she achieved her highest rank in singles. The 23rd day of August, 2021 she was promoted into the top two spot of World rankings. But in doubles, she moved up to number one due to her triumph in Melbourne on February of the following year. Dmitry Tursunov coached her between 2018 until the close of 2019 and also a portion of the early 2020. The pair also briefly worked with Dieter Kindlmann from August to September of 2020. Her training has been provided by her native nationman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Her heroes are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
