Initially, she worked as a professional actress and model. When she gained international recognition, she began acting. Her acting career began on Baywatch Nights, a television show. Harmon has also performed voice acting and has contributed her voice to an animated version of the movie Batman Beyond Return of the Joker. Harmon stopped working on TV at the beginning of 2000, to devote herself solely to the film industry.
